OCEAN
The sun greets us, warms us, smiles upon our old souls. You cause waves to crash upon my sun-kissed surface; ripples of my bubbly laughter float up and are carried to you by the caterwauling seagulls. It is my love for you, for our togetherness, that strengthens me, and breaks my heart each day of our existence. You see, I cannot truly touch you or feel you or hold you, and yet, you are above me and will surround me for all of our past, present, and future. I could survive without you, but my watery wold would be a most lonely plane.
WIND
You are a tempest, my dear, ruled by emotions. I hear your cries, your pleas, and I cannot answer in gentle manners. I create the fiercest storms to prove my love to you and I know it will never be enough to dry your tears, caress your cheek, kiss your mouth. I send the seagulls my song to you and I hear your long breath of sighs. I long for the day our separation is over so that I may join you in the afterlife.
